Verdin Park, Northwich, Cheshire CW8 1BG

The Bonfire & Fireworks Display

The ever popular Northwich FireFest returns for yet another year at Verdin Park.  A huge supervised bonfire is lit, followed by a lengthy and spectacular pyrotechnics display. Fantasia Fireworks’ display includes 2,854 individual bursts! Almost all will be aerial bursts, some with a spread of over 75mtrs. A great way to enjoy a bonfire and fireworks in a safe environment.

The evening is organised jointly by Northwich Rotary and Northwich Round Table, in collaboration with Northwich Town Council.  A team of local volunteers help this event to take place, and all profits raised are paid to local charities.

This is a very popular event so online ticket purchasing is recommended to speed up entry into the park.

  • There will be alcohol sales via a licensed bar on site, but attendees cannot bring their own alcohol.  If they do, it will be confiscated.
  • You must not bring your own fireworks into the event. THIS INCLUDES SPARKLERS. Anyone doing so will be told to leave.
  • We advise no dogs will be allowed on site to our event except specialist assistance dogs who are trained to help a person with a disability to perform specific tasks.
  • There is no parking on Verdin Park. Please be considerate in where and how you park.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I pay for a ticket?

People often comment on the number of people who stand outside the park to view the fireworks.

Whilst we understand that there are those that genuinely can’t afford it – especially in the current financial climate – there are also those who are just free-loading and should be ashamed of themselves.

The maths are quite simple:

No ticket income = No fireworks

+

No ticket income = No money going to charities

Northwich FireFest is run solely by the volunteers from Rotary in Northwich, Northwich Round Table and Agora – plus other supporters.

The cost of fireworks has almost doubled in the last three years, whilst the cost of shipping a container-load into the UK has gone from around £3,000 to a whopping £15,000 in the same period.

We have tried to keep the ticket price as reasonable as possible, whilst maintaining the financial sustainability of the event for future years.

SO, “THANK YOU” for your support!

I haven't received my tickets

You should receive an email containing your entry QR code after placing your order.

Very occasionally, we have people report not receiving theirs.

This is usually due to one of the following reasons:

  1. You did not enter your email correctly when placing your order.
If this is the case, report to the entry gate and give the post code and last name of the person who placed the order, so that we can check it against a list.
  2. You placed your order using either Google Pay or Apple Pay.
You will probably find that you have a different email address on your account. Log in to your account and see which email address is stored there, then check that email account. (Don’t forget to update your Google/Apple Pay Account!).
If you are unable to access the email account, report to the entry gate and give the post code and last name of the person who placed the order, so that we can check it against a list.
  3. The email is in your spam/junk folder.

Contact admin@rotaryinnorthwich.org.uk if the above suggestions have not located your tickets.
